Vanilla Custard (Pantone 12-0815) evokes a sense of warmth, comfort, and sweetness. It's a pale yellow, similar to the color of real vanilla custard dessert. Due to its lightness, Vanilla Custard can be considered a pastel shade. The warmth and softness of the color reminiscent of melted butter. Compared to other colors: more yellow and muted than Cream, less intense and cooler than Buttercup.

The fabric itself is lovely! Very high quality — sturdy, not flimsy, yet airy and somewhat fluid as linen should be. The colour is very original. Very on trend for butter yellow summer. 😀 I don’t think I’ve ever seen this particular yellow in a fabric. It’s a bit muted, a bit on the cool side, yet still a pastel. The seller description was very accurate, I thought. The linen is a tad seethrough as all light fabrics tend to be. I didn’t need to add a lining though. All in all, very very happy with my purchase.
